About 2 weeks ago, some friends of ours, Jeramy & Tracee, welcomed their son Gavin James Williams into the world. At only 1 lb, 3oz, and less than 27 weeks gestation, Gavin took his first breath much earlier than expected. He is a survivor and a fighter already, but he has a long road ahead of him, and so do his parents. He is loved by so many and has already touched many lives. Phil 4:6 says "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God: and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Please join me in praying for this family and for Gavin as the next days and weeks come. And if you feel led, even if you don't know them, leave a comment on their blog to encourage them in this journey.
