A new morning greeting

Often times, when Kylie wakes up in the morning (around 8am), she'll talk to herself and coo in bed for about 10 or 15 minutes. We like to let her learn to entertain herself and also don't want to her to get used to the idea that as soon as she cries or makes a noise, we come running. Anyway we've mastered the art of crawling and have learned how to go from crawling into the sitting position and back. So this morning, I'm getting ready to greet her for the day and I walk into her bedroom and this is what I saw. For the first time, not only was she sitting up in her crib for the first time, but she also had kicked her legs out of her pajamas and her "burrito wrap" blanket that keeps her swaddled during the night had come almost completely un-velcroed and was only around her neck! It was the funniest sight I've seen in a long time and felt compelled to share it with everyone!

I can only hope when my daughter starts with similar morning antics it doesn't spurn too much more maternal anxiety. EB has a hard enough time when carolyn sleeps on her belly:)

Kylie looks cute but just hangin out, "oh hey mom whats up."
