That was my first time ordering from Zaycon so I was anxious to see for myself what the chicken would be like. I was not disappointed at all and I'm so excited that they are back once again so I can restock my freezer. Even the pick-up process was so simple - I didn't even have to get out of my car. I put a cooler in the back of my van before I left and when I arrived at the picke up location, I simply followed the yellow cones, told them my name and then they loaded the meat into my trunk for me. That was it!
I was a bit nervous about 40 lbs of chicken in my freezer so my mom bought 10 pounds of it and we took the remaining chicken and separated individual portions in the food saver. Looking back we totally could have fit all 40 pounds in our freezer and we will certainly do it again. The chicken is super plump and really tasty and tastes great with a bit of seasoning.
My hubby boiled some breasts and shredded it before freezing and froze some others fresh. The shredded chx has been super convenient for stir-fry, BBQ chicken sandwiches, chicken enchiladas, etc, and the full portions are so simple to defrost & pop onto the grill.
