I've realized that part of what makes me feel really put together is having great accessories. Accessories can turn a plain jane white t-shirt into a background to showcase a beautiful piece of artwork around the neck/wrist or dangling from my ears.
Along with a little make-up, accessories take me from "bumming around the house mom" to "ready for an evening out with the hubby" woman. It's not too often that I actually get dressed with the necklace, bracelet, hat, & purse, but they definitely make me feel more confident and put together when I do.
The only problem is most of the time, the accessories cost more than my entire outfit! I try to look for really great deals on jewelry but they just don't seem to hit the clearance rack like clothing does. That's why I end up with the same, although beautiful, necklace and basic black purse most of the time.

I was a tweenie in the late sixties and have fallen for the Silver Multi-Color Cross and Earing Set . . . .it just pops 'Sixties'. I was too young to be a part of that culture and all that wnet with it but I remember FLOWER POWER and beautiful flowing colors. Sooooooo me!
