With all mail-in rebates, these can be great promotions but only if you take the time to record and follow up to make sure you receive your money back! I always make a copy of the receipt along with the entry form with contact information and I write the date I sent it in. I keep my rebates in a binder clip hanging on my bulletin board so I can remember what I still have outstanding and be reminded of it. I also write a note in my calendar for approximately when that rebate should arrive so I can follow up if it's been too long since sending the forms. And when my rebate check arrives, I pull it from my binder clip and file my receipt copy should I need it in the future.
