This Friday is
Don't Fry Day and as summer arrives and the UV Index rises, it's time to remember Slip! Slop! Slap! and Wrap! In an effort to raise awareness about a health issue that is largely preventable and too often ignored – skin cancer – the EPA is promoting the first-ever national sun safety day on Friday before Memorial Day weekend.
As millions of us prepare to enjoy the great outdoors this Memorial Day weekend, EPA and the National Council on Skin Care Prevention are reminding Americans to practice sun-safe behaviors. Here's an easy way to remember:
Slip - Slip on a shirt
Slop - Slop on sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher every 2 hours
Slap - Slap on a hat
Wrap - Wrap on Sunglasses
